Wedding Harpist

I can provide beautiful music on the harp to make your wedding day perfect. I have been playing the harp at weddings for over ten years and greatly enjoy helping to create a very special day. I am always happy to arrange and learn music you would like to request if it is not part of my usual repertoire. Please visit ‘the music’ page to see song lists and wedding music suggestions. I have been the wedding harpist at a large number of venues including hotels, churches, halls, gardens and in marquees’. The harp can be used at various stages during the day to really add to the atmosphere and help the day run smoothly.

Harp music during the Ceremony
Harp music during this part of the day will include music as your guests enter and are seated before the ceremony and then three or four main pieces of your choice during the proceedings. One for the Bride to enter to, one or two pieces while the register is signed, and then music for the exit of the Bride and Groom followed by their guests. These may be from a selection of traditional wedding pieces (please see examples at the bottom of this page), or any music of your choosing.

Harp music for Drinks Reception and Photographs
This is an ideal time to have background music while people are standing around chatting. The music will help create an atmosphere and can often work as a useful conversation ice-breaker amongst guests. The harp is also visually stunning so can add to the grandeur of your day.

Harp music for Wedding Breakfast /Meal
Similarly to the drinks reception and photographs, I can play throughout your wedding breakfast and reception. I usually finish playing by the start of the speeches (if you are having them) as preparations are then made for the evening party.
